The second Areena tournament, dubbed Areena #2 by ROCCAT due to its sponsorship with the German peripherals manufacturer, is taking place this Saturday in Helsinki.
This time the HLTV issues have been resolved and every match will feature a public HLTV, and the organizers encourage anyone to stream the games as well. All POV and HLTV demos will once again be uploaded by the next day.

Areena #2 by ROCCAT will feature six teams put in a giant group where everyone will play each other once for seeding purposes. Rest of the event will then be played out in a double elimination best-of-one bracket with pre-determined maps.
Captains were chosen based on the same criteria as the previous event; all the best players were picked in order to try to create most evenly matched up teams. Following players will serve as captains at Areena #2 by ROCCAT:

The registration opened up on the afternoon of Wednesday September 12 and a quota of 30 players was hit in under eight hours despite little to no advertising.
As with Areena #1, the first two backup players who show up on-site will receive free ROCCAT Taito Mid-Size 3mm mousepads for their trouble. Following players will participate at Areena #2 by ROCCAT:

HLTV.org will provide coverage of the tournament with statistics, HLTV demos and the best POV demos to be uploaded to the site. Hot matches will also be added throughout Saturday.
